In the 1990 draft Chipper would be the Braves number 1 draft choice and make his MLB debut in 1993. In 1995, he would become the Braves third baseman; a position he would not leave till he retired in 2012. For clarity, he played left field in 2002-2003. He would help lead the Braves to their first World Series title in Atlanta. He retired following the 2012 season as one of the games best third baseman with a batting average of .303, 468 home runs and 1,623 RBIs. Jones was a switch hitter and ranks second behind Eddie Murray for career RBIs, and he is the only switch hitter in MLB history with a career batting average of at least .300 and 400 or more home runs. He would win the National League MVP and MLB Batting Championship in 2008 hitting .364. Jersey shows moderate wear with puckering on front Braves and numbers on back.
