Rare isn't even close to saying how rare this suit is. Owens was inducted into the 4th Nascar Hall of Fame Class in 2013. As Cotton would move to NASCAR's Grand National "Stock Car" division, he would take his place in Nascar history among the sports best drivers. While driving Pontiacs wearing his now signature red and white color scheme and infamous #6. What made Owens great was not only his driving ability, but his mechanical aptitude and car preparation that made him a force to be reckoned with wherever he raced. From 1960-1962 he would have 5 victories as a driver. Cotton as a car owner and driver would give some youngsters the opportunity to drive some of his cars, Marty Robbins, Junior Johnson, Benny Pearson, Mario Andretti, Buddy Baker and Al Unser. Owens' career statistics include 41 wins and 38 poles in 487 races. The suit is Cotton's team colors red, white and gold. The suit has Cotton embroidered on the left breast and embroidered 6A on the back. Collar has Hinchman Uniforms Indianapolis. This is the only Cotton Owens Suit we have seen for public sale.
